VIEUX CARRÉ

Pronounced “Voo Ca Ray”, it is French for “Old Quarter”, and is a term used for the French Quarter of New Orleans. (Note: Vieux Carré is also the name of a cocktail made with rye, Cognac, sweet vermouth, and bitters.)
