Always Remember, Never Forget
John Dunlop
On this solemn day, we remember the events of September 11 and remember those who were killed and injured. A series of four coordinated terrorist attacks were carried out by the Islamist terrorist group al-Qaeda against the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The attacks resulted in 2,977 fatalities, over 25,000 injuries, and substantial long-term health consequences. 9/11 is the single deadliest terrorist attack in human history. On this day, in memory of those who are fallen, let us reflect on the fact that we are stronger and better when we are united. Never forget.
