Our Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival, established in 2006, continues New Orleans’ historic role in making the blues and R&B among the most influential sounds in the world. The Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival presents many of the top performers from southern Louisiana and Mississippi, plus delicious food and unique visual art. Remember, without the blues, there would be no jazz or R&B.
Gentilly Fest celebrates all things "Gentilly," including continuous live music on the main stage and gospel tent. Local restaurants and caterers sell sumptuous food and an Arts and Crafts area featuring original works from a variety of craft merchants. The festival also offers children’s activities including pony rides, a kid’s village, and a variety of practical recovery information offered by local business and non-profit organizations. The Gentilly Fest is a 501c3 organization that provides monetary support to the New Orleans Police and Fire Departments that serve the Gentilly community. We also contribute to organizations that provide a recreational or cultural enrichment to our children. This year, Gentilly Fest will also donate funds to Pontchartrain Park and Milne Playground sports programs as well as The Roots of Music.
Carnaval Latino is a celebration of Latin music, food, art and culture. Musical artists from several Latin American countries reflect the rich cultural diversity of Carnaval Latino and offer attendees a musical tour without ever leaving New Orleans. Several popular local bands also perform during the fest.
The premier American festival dedicated to the life, legacy, and music of New Orleans' native son, Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong, Satchmo SummerFest takes place at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Mint on August 6 to 7, 2022. The 2022 festival lineup includes nearly 30 acts, ranging from traditional jazz to swing, brass and marching bands, funk, R&B, jazz fusion, and more performing on three stages over two days. Tremé and the 7th Ward have given life to some of New Orleans’ (and the world’s) most famous works of art, music, and culture. To celebrate these historic, thriving areas, the Tremé/7th Ward neighborhoods host an annual, free spring festival (usually every Memorial Day Weekend) that features neighborhood tours, bar crawls, a Gospel breakfast, and a Congo Square second line!
Under the Bridges Arts and Culture Festival
This free two-day music festival is open to the public and takes place in the spring under I-10 between Basin Street & St. Bernard Avenue along North Claiborne Avenue. Attendees can expect to see live music legends, local cuisine, and crafts, as well as community organizations and city partners who will share the history and significance of these neighborhoods.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Gospel breakfast, Congo Square second line, tours of the neighborhoods, panel discussions, and more.
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a/k/a Jazz Fest, is a cultural feast in which thousands of musicians, cooks and craftspeople welcome 400,000 visitors each year. It showcases unforgettable music on multiple stages, delicious Louisiana cuisine in two large food areas, and crafts artisans from the region and around the world demonstrating and selling their work. The Festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music encompasses every style associated with the city and the state: blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk, Latin, rock, rap, country, bluegrass and everything in between. And of course there is lots of jazz, both contemporary and traditional. It is held at the Fair Grounds Race Course over the course of 2 weekends, hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. NOLA time. The Heritage Fair takes place at the Fair Grounds Race Course, centrally located at 1751 Gentilly Boulevard, 10 minutes from the French Quarter.
