New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on 5/5 - 8/2/2022

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a/k/a Jazz Fest, is a cultural feast in which thousands of musicians, cooks and craftspeople welcome 400,000 visitors each year. It showcases unforgettable music on multiple stages, delicious Louisiana cuisine in two large food areas, and crafts artisans from the region and around the world demonstrating and selling their work. The Festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music encompasses every style associated with the city and the state: blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk, Latin, rock, rap, country, bluegrass and everything in between. And of course there is lots of jazz, both contemporary and traditional. It is held at the Fair Grounds Race Course over the course of 2 weekends, hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. NOLA time. The Heritage Fair takes place at the Fair Grounds Race Course, centrally located at 1751 Gentilly Boulevard, 10 minutes from the French Quarter.

FQF - French Quarter Festival 4/21 - 24/2022

French Quarter Festival features more than 20 stages throughout the French Quarter celebrating local music and representing every genre from traditional and contemporary jazz to R&B, New Orleans funk, brass bands, folk, gospel, Latin, Zydeco, classical, cabaret, and international. New Orleans great restaurants serve food and beverages in Jackson Square, the Jazz Museum at the Mint, JAX Brewery, and Woldenberg Riverfront Park during French Quarter Festival weekend. It showcases the culture and heritage of New Orleans while also contributing to the economic well-being of the community.

BUKU Music + Art Project 3/25 - 26/2022

BUKU Music + Art Project is a two-day music and arts festival founded in 2012 and held at Mardi Gras World. BUKU considers itself to be a boutique event that delivers a big festival punch without compromising its house-party vibe. BUKI describes itself a follows: vibrant music and art festival meets underground warehouse party celebrating the progressive subculture of New Orleans. It’s a New Orleans playground … the lines between fan and performer are blurred … am I looking at art or sitting on its? Does it matter? Let go and immerse yourself in: BUKULTURE! Music and art feel different like this.

Happy Mardi Gras!

Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday", referring to the practice of indulging and eating rich foods on the last night before the fasting of Lent begins at midnight, when Ash Wednesday begins. In New Orleans, Mardi Gras is about fun and celebration … parades, floats, people-watching, food, drink, music and all forms of entertainment. Mardi Gras revelers wear wild and crazy costumes and/or traditional colors of purple, green, and gold. Many wear beads caught during parades. Families with their kids are everywhere, and both locals and visitors have a fantastic time. Mardi Gras has been called the party New Orleans throws for itself, and invites everybody else to attend!

Tales of the Cocktail - 9/20 - 23/2021

Tales of the Cocktail Foundation (TOTCF) is pleased to announce the dates for Tales of the Cocktail® 2021 (TOTC). The world’s largest cocktail conference will return for its 19th year from September 20 – 23, 2021. 

TOTC2020 marked the Foundation’s first foray into converting its annual festival into a digital conference, a decision born out of necessity due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. For 2021, the Foundation is offering a digital format once again to prioritize the health and safety of its attendees and ensure a global audience has complimentary access to participate in its programming. While the festival will largely be digital in September, the Foundation is leaving the door open for local activations in global markets wherever it proves both safe and valuable for attendees.
